Thank you for a great step by step video. Saved me roughly £250 - £350, depending on the garage I take my car to. That's including the relatively inexpensive tools I have bought as well. Superb,
i know im randomly asking but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Kieran Thomas I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
So I was wondering. Brakes on the front right wheel were squeaking quite hard so I had the disc and pads replaced. Problem is that there's still a bit of noise when braking, usually when braking softly around the 60-80 kph. What else could cause this?
This is because of the pads with discs, it happens, it appears and disappears it is also necessary to check all the moving elements in the brake caliper, there may be slight dirt or grease hardened and the caliper does not work a little. AUTODOC
It's all very well if , like the gentleman doing the job, you're a strapping young bloke. However, I find the alloy wheels VERY HEAVY. What's an easier way to align the wheel bolt holes when the car is at ground level and one is 77 years old and of slight build?
Use a piece of wood to rest the wobbly wheel on while you align it. Try to align the holes as best you can by eye using the rest of the wood rather than ‘muscling’ it, and get one stud in. Check it’s not cross threaded and then wind it in about four turns. Now it should be easier to shove the wheel onto the hub and then get another stud threaded on, opposite your first. From then it should be a cinch.
thank you for all the stofs you r uploading, icould find any video on how to replace back rear spring on toyota avensis kombi (_T27_) - 2.0 D-4D (ADT270_) (126Hk) 09/2009 thank verry much in advance
Why do you use a torque wrench for the brake caliper bolts, if you pass the torque point (click) and torque them more, anyway ? Not cleaning the whole disk surface from its protective film layer, but only a portion? Great! Didn't the new brake pads come with new quides, and there was the need for cleaning and using the old ones ?

Do you need the brake piston tool or can you use big grips instead?
Grips work fine mate

To remove and install wheels, you need to raise the car on a jack or lift.

Do i really need to tourqe the bolts or can i just slam it with my impact?
In practice, it is imperative to use a torque wrench and observe the appropriate tightening torques.

What about brake line bleading?
Yes, it is recommended to bleed the system and change the brake fluid if necessary.
Very interesting 👍
